About Me
I graduated from Simon Fraser University in the spring of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science Honours and a Mathematics minor. I also received a Certificate in Liberal Arts.
My research areas of interest include computer vision, human-computer interaction and user interface design. I am also interested in computational geometry and neural networks. I received a NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) to work on a computer vision project during the summer of 2006. I was awarded another NSERC USRA along with this CDMP award to carry out HCI and medical imaging research during the summer of 2007, the results of which are outlined on this website.
I have a great deal of volunteer and leadership experience that I gained over my career as an undergraduate. I was President of the Computing Science Student Society, President of the Women in Computing Science group, and founded and Chaired the Northwestern Technology Conference for Undergraduates.
