On Feb. 28 - March 1, 1994, the "R&D for the NII: Technical Challenges" symposium was held in cooperation with the Technology Policy Working Group of the government's Information Infrastructure Task Force Committee on Applications and Technology, and with the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The Steering Committee wishes to express its appreciation to all the attendees for their participation. The committee also wishes to express its appreciation to Mary Vernon (the Program Committee Chair), to all of the track chairs and to all of the other members of the Program Committee for their technical leadership before and during the symposium and in the preparation of this report.
