The Second CREW/DMP Reunion will take place in conjunction with the 2004 Grace Hopper Conference. The Reunion will bring together students and mentors, as well as past coordinators and funders of the project for dinner and networking. The event will be held at the Swissôtel Chicago, 323 Wacker Dr. 6:30-9:30pm, Friday, October 8, 2004.

CRA-W has limited funds to support students who would like to attend the reunion. We will be able to offer $500 to up to 40 students, and ask that you try to supplement this amount with funds from your department. If you have no alternative source of funding, let us know and we will try to arrange additional funding. Note that it is not necessary to attend the conference in order to attend the reunion, and we cannot provide support for students to attend the conference. All students attending are expected to present a poster on their research at the conference; this can either be your research in the CREW/DMP program or research you are doing now in graduate school. Space has been reserved for reunion participants as part of the Grace Hopper Conference poster session. It is not necessary to have already submitted a poster proposal to the conference.
