1994 CRA Distinguished Service Award presented to William A. Wulf The 1994 award recognizes Wulf's long history of outstanding leadership in the computing research community. His service includes founding Tartan Laboratories, heading the Computing Science Department of the University of Virginia, heading the Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering Directorate at the National Science Foundation and, currently, chairing the National Research Council's Computer Science and Telecommunications Board.
